Learning Outcomes

This course employs a blend of introspective, interactive, and experiential methods to guide participants on a journey of self-awareness and skill development. It begins with self-assessment tools like personality inventories, strengths and weaknesses assessments, and emotional intelligence evaluations. These tools help participants uncover their hidden abilities, strengths, and areas needing growth. Guided reflective exercises enable them to explore how their emotions, behaviors, and communication styles impact their relationships and environment.
Interactive lectures and group discussions provide foundational knowledge in emotional intelligence, communication, and conflict resolution, offering theory as a basis for self-awareness. These are complemented by small group activitiesthat foster a supportive environment, where participants can share insights, discuss experiences, and receive constructive peer feedback. To develop practical skills, the course includes role-playing and scenario-based exercises where participants can safely practice expressing emotions, handling conflicts, and improving communication in real-life scenarios.

Assessment:

  1. Reflection Journals: Participants maintain a journal throughout the course, documenting self-reflections, emotional insights, and progress. This helps them track their personal growth and deepens their self-awareness.
  2. Self-Assessment Exercises: Initial and mid-course self-assessment exercises allow participants to evaluate their strengths, weaknesses, and hidden abilities, setting the foundation for personal goal-setting.
  3. Participation in Group Activities: Active participation in group discussions, role-playing, and feedback sessions is key for skill development, as it enables participants to practice interpersonal skills in a supportive, real-time environment.
  4. Final Project – Personal Growth Plan: As a culminating assessment, each participant submits a Personal Growth Plan that synthesizes their self-discovery insights, sets specific goals for personal and interpersonal growth, and includes strategies for continued development in emotional expression, communication, and conflict resolution.

This methodology combines introspection, interactive learning, and hands-on practice, equipping participants with both the self-knowledge and skills to unlock their hidden abilities and enhance their emotional and interpersonal effectiveness.
