Course Description
Functional Eating teaches how to use nutrient-rich foods to boost energy, immunity, and mental clarity while preventing chronic diseases. Participants explore balanced macronutrients, meal planning, and health-focused food choices.
The Mindfulness module introduces stress management, meditation, breathing exercises, and mindful eating to enhance self-awareness and decision-making.
The Exercise segment focuses on sustainable movement, emphasizing core stability, flexibility, balance, and endurance. Tailored to individual fitness levels, it helps prevent injuries and supports everyday functionality, promoting long-term physical and mental well-being.

Target Group
This course is designed for educators of all levels as well as individuals interested in learning and teaching sustainable ways of living in alternative ways incorporating 21st century and life skills.
Learning Outcomes
- This course uses diverse methodologies to foster a healthy lifestyle.
- Participants engage in discussions, icebreakers, and needs assessments to tailor their learning.
- Activities include exploring functional eating through nutrition science and nature trails, practicing mindfulness techniques like body scans and breathing, and integrating movement to enhance learning.
- Collaborative projects, such as creating materials and hiking, provide hands-on experiences.
- The program concludes with presentations, feedback, and actionable plans for school implementation, ensuring practical application of acquired skills.

*The language of the course is English, linguistic aid may be provided for speakers of Hungarian with lower language abilities.
Conditions
The course complies with all rules as set in the Quality Standards of the Erasmus+ program. Extracurricular activities are in addition to the lessons, and study groups are international. Note: should the latter condition not be met, participants will be informed 40 days in advance.
Payment facilities: participants with funding from the actual year’s project budget may ask to request a deposit of EUR 100 to guarantee their places on the course and pay the rest of the fees later.
It is possible to take part in 2 consecutive courses, please book both separately. A price reduction of 15% will be applied.
